Tobacco Prevention

We Can Help You Quit Tobacco

Do you have a love / hate relationship with tobacco?

Do you desire to quit using tobacco, but you just can’t seem to kick the habit? Not sure if you even want to quit, but realize you should?

We can help.

Through the Tennessee Tobacco Use, Prevention and Control Program, smokers have the option to call the Tennessee Tobacco Quitline, use a web-based program or attend in-person counseling services to receive free FDA approved nicotine replacement therapy.

Call the Quitline at 1-800-QUIT-NOW (1-800-784-8669) to speak with a counselor who will help you assess your addiction and help you create a quit plan.  You can also visit www.tnquitline.org.

Join us at Cookeville Regional Medical Center or at Highlands Residential Services to learn the why and how to go about quitting tobacco. Quitting is NOT easy and staying tobacco free can be even harder. Let us teach you the life skills you need to end your love affair with the most addictive substance known to man, nicotine. We can equip you to fight and end your battle with cigarettes and other nicotine products.
